Personalised Bespoke Facials in Fulham, London

Georgina Sookias, Advanced Skin Specialist and Facialist, at her Fulham, London studio

A bespoke facial isn’t a name on a menu. It’s a protocol Georgina builds around your skin, after she’s actually assessed it, not before.

Every bespoke facial follows the same starting point: understanding your skin first. What that leads to is genuinely individual.

In short

A bespoke facial is a personalised protocol, built around an assessment of your skin, rather than a fixed sequence of steps chosen from a menu. No two appointments are identical, because no two skins present the same way, and the same skin can need something different at different appointments. Georgina’s personalised facial and treatment appointments begin from approximately £175, with the final protocol and cost confirmed once your skin has actually been assessed.

The starting point

Why a bespoke facial is different

The treatment name doesn’t come first. What comes first is your skin’s current condition, which isn’t the same thing as your general skin type; an oily baseline can still present with dehydration or sensitivity, and a dry baseline can still involve congestion. Two clients describing the same concern can need genuinely different protocols, because the same visible presentation can involve different contributing factors. And more steps don’t automatically mean better value. A bespoke facial is judged by whether each stage included has a reason to be there, not by how many stages it contains.

This is educational, not diagnostic. It shows the kind of thing Georgina considers, not a way to diagnose your own skin.

What you may notice: skin that looks tired or feels tight.

What Georgina assesses: barrier condition, hydration, current routine.

Why the protocol may differ: dehydration and a compromised barrier need different first steps.

When treatment may need to be postponed: if the barrier appears significantly compromised, calming and support come first.

What you may notice: blackheads, an uneven surface, or ongoing breakouts.

What Georgina assesses: the type of congestion, and whether any inflammation is present.

Why the protocol may differ: inflamed lesions are treated differently from ordinary congestion.

When treatment may need to be postponed or medically assessed: active, painful or widespread inflammatory breakouts.

What you may notice: dark marks, patchiness, or uneven colour.

What Georgina assesses: when marks appeared, and whether they change with sun exposure or hormones.

Why the protocol may differ: different pigmentation patterns need different approaches, and some benefit from a more cautious plan.

When medical assessment may be more appropriate: rapidly changing or irregular pigmentation.

What you may notice: flushing, stinging, or skin that reacts easily.

What Georgina assesses: how long this has been happening, and what’s changed recently.

Why the protocol may differ: redness has more than one possible cause, and some need medical input rather than cosmetic treatment.

When medical assessment may be more appropriate: persistent or unexplained redness.

What you may notice: lines at rest, or skin that feels less resilient.

What Georgina assesses: whether this is a hydration and quality concern, or something more structural.

Why the protocol may differ: a facial, microneedling, and injectable treatments each address a different part of this picture.

When a different approach may be needed: where structural change is the dominant concern.

What you may notice: an uneven surface, visible pores, or marks left after breakouts.

What Georgina assesses: whether active acne is still present, and what’s actually creating the texture.

Why the protocol may differ: active acne generally needs addressing before scar-focused work is prioritised.

When treatment may need to be postponed: active, unresolved breakouts in the same area.

What you may notice: wanting your skin to look its best for a specific date.

What Georgina assesses: exactly how much time you have to recover.

Why the protocol may differ: a treatment with visible downtime isn’t appropriate close to an event, whatever else it might otherwise suit.

When a gentler approach is needed: any time the margin for recovery is tight.

What you may notice: skin that’s already in reasonably good condition, wanting to keep it that way.

What Georgina assesses: whether anything has changed since your last appointment.

Why the protocol may differ: maintenance doesn’t need the same intensity as a corrective plan.

When more may be needed: if something has genuinely changed since your last visit.

Sudden, persistent, worsening, asymmetric or otherwise unexplained skin changes should be assessed by an appropriate medical professional.

What may form part of your personalised facial

Roles within a personalised protocol

These are examples of the different roles treatments may play within a personalised protocol. They are not options you are expected to choose before your consultation.

Prepare

Professional cleansing and, where suitable, controlled steam as part of preparation. Steam does not open or close pores and is not appropriate for every skin.

A facial may draw from a wide range of professional roles, but these are not selectable menu items, and not all of them are performed in any single appointment. Depending on assessment, this may include professional cleansing products selected for your skin, controlled steam where suitable, dermaplaning where appropriate, a carefully selected professional chemical peel, careful extractions where appropriate, facial massage, concern-specific professional serums, and a matched Fotoage light programme, selected by Georgina rather than chosen by you.

Module · The Skinox and Fotoage pathways

The Skinox and Fotoage pathways

The pathway, and its matched light programme, is selected by Georgina following assessment. It isn’t a colour you choose.

Wrinkle Renewal

For concerns including: fine lines, dehydration, dullness, uneven texture, and the appearance of reduced firmness.

What Georgina assesses first: hydration, skin quality, and whether the concern is genuinely surface-level.

Matched programme: red light, 630 nm ±10 nm, 15 minutes.

What the pathway may include, and why it may be adjusted or omitted: depends on the wider protocol and your skin’s current tolerance. This pathway supports hydration, skin quality, texture and the appearance of firmness. It does not remove wrinkles.

Red — 630 nm ±10 nmBlue — 425 nm ±10 nmGreen — 530 nm ±10 nmYellow — 590 nm ±10 nm

The matched Fotoage light stage runs for approximately 15 minutes. It is selected as part of the wider protocol, not chosen independently.

Beyond a facial appointment

Advanced additions to a wider plan

Some concerns are better addressed by treatments that sit outside a facial appointment entirely, either as an addition within a wider protocol or as their own separately assessed treatment. This includes professional microneedling, topical PDRN, a professional exosome formulation, HIFU, Profhilo, and injectable polynucleotides. None of these is a casual add-on, and none is chosen by request alone.

Where an advanced exosome-based microneedling protocol is appropriate, this is a complete, separately priced treatment in its own right, combining assessment, a concern-specific professional peel, SkyMedic microneedling, a topically applied professional exosome formulation, a concern-specific Skinox serum, the matched Fotoage light programme, finishing protection and SPF, and matched homecare where appropriate. The full detail of this protocol, including its confirmed pricing, is set out on its own dedicated page, linked once from the Advanced Exosome Microneedling panel below.

Professional role: creates controlled microchannels to prompt the skin’s own repair response, within an individually selected protocol.

Why it might be recommended: texture, certain scarring, or overall skin condition.

Why it might not: active or infected acne, or skin that isn’t currently calm enough.

Belongs within a facial, or its own appointment: usually its own separately assessed treatment, particularly where advanced exosome-based protocols are involved.

Microneedling and Advanced Exosome Microneedling

Professional role: a topical formula that may support certain protocols, applied topically, not injected.

Why it might be recommended: where assessment indicates it’s an appropriate supportive element.

Why it might not: it isn’t automatically suitable, and topical PDRN is not the same as injectable polynucleotides.

Belongs within a facial, or its own appointment: may form part of a wider protocol, following assessment.

Professional role: a professional topical exosome formulation used within a defined protocol, applied topically, not injected.

Why it might be recommended: where the assessed pathway indicates it’s appropriate.

Why it might not: it isn’t automatically included, and evidence for these formulations is still developing; no stem-cell, mRNA, DNA-repair or regeneration claims are made.

Belongs within a facial, or its own appointment: typically part of the advanced exosome-based microneedling protocol.

Professional role: focused ultrasound delivered at selected tissue depths, depending on the device and protocol.

Why it might be recommended: where deeper structural support is genuinely the priority.

Why it might not: it doesn’t address congestion, dehydration or barrier concerns, and isn’t suitable for everyone.

Belongs within a facial, or its own appointment: its own separately assessed appointment.

HIFU

Professional role: a separately assessed injectable treatment considered for diffuse hydration, elasticity and crepey skin quality.

Why it might be recommended: where assessment indicates it’s appropriate for your skin quality goals.

Why it might not: it isn’t automatically the answer to dullness or dehydration if the underlying priority is barrier support or homecare instead.

Belongs within a facial, or its own appointment: always its own separately assessed appointment, never a facial add-on.

Profhilo

Professional role: a separately assessed injectable treatment, distinct from topical PDRN.

Why it might be recommended: it may be considered for selected face, under-eye or skin-quality concerns following a separate assessment.

Why it might not: it isn’t automatically right for every client or every concern.

Belongs within a facial, or its own appointment: always its own separately assessed appointment, never a facial add-on.

What happens during the appointment

You describe what’s bothering you, in your own words.

Georgina reviews your skin’s current condition and relevant history.

The skin is prepared for whatever the assessment indicates is appropriate.

The protocol is built and ordered around what your skin needs.

The selected stages are carried out.

Finishing products and SPF close the appointment.

Homecare guidance, and whether a further appointment is appropriate.

Not every appointment contains all seven of these stages performed as physical treatment. This is the professional journey behind every appointment, not a promise of seven separate procedures.

Value, not step count

What Your Investment Reflects

You are not paying for the greatest number of steps. You are paying for the right decisions to be made about your skin.

That price reflects Georgina’s time and the assessment behind every appointment, her qualifications and professional judgement, how the protocol is designed and sequenced, the professional formulations and consumables used, appropriate technology where relevant, contraindication screening, genuine aftercare guidance, and the restraint to recommend less when less is what your skin actually needs. Knowing when not to treat is as much a part of that judgement as knowing when to.

Consistency over intensity

One appointment versus a programme

You wouldn’t expect one gym session to produce the result of a considered training programme. Skin shouldn’t be treated as though one appointment must correct every concern either. One suitable facial can provide a genuine, immediate benefit. Longer-term correction usually needs consistency, and homecare matters between appointments. The plan may change according to how your skin responds, and more appointments don’t automatically mean a better result; what matters is whether each one has a reason to be there.

Clear costs, always

Investment

Personalised facial appointments begin from approximately £175. More advanced personalised protocols are priced individually, depending on what assessment determines is appropriate. Injectable treatments and other separately assessed procedures are priced additionally. You receive clear costs before proceeding, in every case. Full indicative London pricing context is explained in our guide to how much a professional facial costs in London, while treatment prices are listed separately. The consultation page sets out the consultation fee and terms in full.

As an Advanced Skin Specialist & Facialist, her work combines hands-on facial technique with advanced technology, informed by treatment planning and facial anatomy, and led by assessment rather than a fixed protocol. She doesn’t oversell, and where something sits outside what a cosmetic facial can appropriately address, she’ll say so and may recommend medical assessment instead.
