Advanced microneedling for fine lines and firmness in Fulham

The first fine lines rarely arrive alone. Skin starts to look a little tired, a touch less smooth and less firm. This pathway is built for exactly that: microneedling paired with a peel, serum and matched red light, each chosen around your skin.

What it may help with

What this pathway may help with

One appointment with several areas of focus for fine lines and firmness. Explore by what matters most to you. Any change is gradual and builds over a course.

Softer-looking fine lines

The peel refines the surface and the serum hydrates, so early lines that dehydration exaggerates look softer. It is a gradual change, not an eraser.

Smoother surface texture

A light peel and controlled microneedling work on texture together, for skin that looks smoother and catches the light more evenly.

The appointment, at a glance

Five stages, one considered sequence

Each stage prepares the next. A stage can be softened or left out on the day, because the plan is built around your skin rather than applied identically to everyone.

1

Assessment

Georgina looks at whether your lines are mainly surface and hydration or something more structural, and how your barrier is coping.

2

A light peel

A gentle acid peel lifts dull surface cells, softened or left out if your barrier is sensitised or you use retinoids.

3

Microneedling

Controlled micro-channels with one topical formulation, exosomes or PDRN, chosen for your skin.

4

The Wrinkles serum

Hydration and peptides worked into prepared skin, aimed at the look of smoother, firmer skin.

5

Matched red light

The red Fotoage programme runs for about fifteen minutes while you rest, matched to the serum stage.

The thinking behind it

What Georgina weighs up for your skin

What Georgina assesses

Whether your lines are mainly surface and hydration or something more structural, how your barrier is coping, and any home retinoids that change how a peel behaves.

How it is tailored

Peel strength is adjusted or left out, the needling is tailored, and exosomes or PDRN is chosen for your skin rather than by trend.

Recovery

Short-lived redness, warmth or light flaking can follow and usually settles within a few days. Daily SPF matters and strong actives are paused briefly.

The ingredients

Explore the peel, serum and matched light

Three stages, each with a different job. Choose a stage to see what is in it and why it is there for fine lines and firmness. Open any ingredient for the detail, including where a benefit is well established and where it is a manufacturer proposal.

The peel comes first for one reason: microneedling works best on a smooth, well-prepared surface. A light acid peel lifts dull surface cells so the needling and serum reach skin that is ready. It is the gentlest stage and the one Georgina most often softens or skips. The acids exfoliate, the microneedling creates the channels, the serum is delivered into prepared skin, and the red light is matched to the serum. Each stage has a different job, and more acid does not mean a better result.

01Surface renewal
Glycolic acidThe main exfoliating acid

The smallest AHA, so it penetrates readily and does most of the surface exfoliation in this peel. For fine lines it lifts dull, built-up cells so skin looks smoother and catches the light more evenly. It is paired with mandelic acid rather than pushed stronger for a bigger effect.

Mandelic acidSlower, even exfoliation

A larger AHA that works more slowly and evenly than glycolic. It is here so the exfoliation stays even on skin that shows early lining and patchy texture, instead of over-working one area.

02Hydration support
Lactic acidExfoliates and holds water

An AHA that also attracts water, so it renews the surface while helping the skin stay hydrated. That matters for fine lines, which read more deeply on dehydrated skin.

03Pore clarification
Salicylic acidThe oil-soluble acid

The one BHA in the blend, so it works inside the pore lining rather than only on the surface. Its job here is to clear congestion that can exaggerate texture. It is a minor part of an anti-ageing peel, not an acne treatment.

04Antioxidant support
Ferulic acidPlant antioxidant

Included to support the skin against oxidative stress during exfoliation. For ageing-concerned skin that antioxidant role is the point; it is not there to exfoliate like the acids around it.

05Tone support
Citric and kojic acidsMinor tone-support acids

Two acids present in small amounts and associated with brighter, more even tone. They support tone within this peel rather than target specific marks. Pigmentation is addressed properly on the Dark spots pathway.

Recovery and results

What to expect, stage by stage

Tap each stage to see what you may notice and what is realistic. Timings are a guide and vary between people.

1
What you may notice

Redness, warmth and a tight feeling for a day or two, a little like light sun exposure.

What's happening biologically

The controlled micro-channels have triggered the skin repair response.

Realistic expectations

Most people are comfortable with makeup-free rest for the first day.

2
What you may notice

Calmer skin, sometimes with light flaking as the surface renews.

What's happening biologically

Surface cells turn over while deeper repair continues quietly.

Realistic expectations

Gentle care and daily SPF matter most this week.

3
What you may notice

A subtle, gradual improvement in how smooth and refreshed skin looks.

What's happening biologically

New collagen and elastin form slowly in the weeks after treatment.

Realistic expectations

Change is cumulative rather than instant, and varies between people.

4
What you may notice

The clearest change usually follows a completed course, not one visit.

What's happening biologically

Repeated, spaced stimulation supports steadier skin quality over time.

Realistic expectations

Realistic, gradual improvement. It is not a facelift or an injectable effect.

Is this right for me?

Suitability and honest expectations

Any change is gradual and builds over a course. The aim is skin that looks smoother, more hydrated and a little firmer, with softer-looking fine lines. It is not a facelift and does not work like an injectable such as botulinum toxin.

Often a good fit
Early fine lines, with skin that looks a little less smooth or firm
Concerns that are mainly dehydration and surface texture
A preference for gradual, natural change built over a suitable course
Honest limits
•It is not a facelift, and does not work like an injectable such as botulinum toxin
•Very reactive or compromised skin may need a gentler first step
•Deep or structural lines usually need a different plan

Suitability is assessed individually, and results vary between people. A gentler approach, or a different first step, may be right for very reactive or compromised skin.

The only way to know if this pathway suits you is to have your skin looked at. That happens at your skin consultation, or as part of the assessment at the start of your advanced microneedling appointment.
