What is included in a microneedling appointment
Your appointment begins with a skin assessment and a discussion of your concerns and goals. The skin is cleansed and prepared, and numbing cream is applied where appropriate for comfort. A professional microneedling device is then used to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, which prompts its natural repair and collagen response.
What is included depends on your treatment. Signature uses a light preparation peel, Dermapen 4 with hyaluronic acid, a calming mask and LED. Advanced Signature adds a concern-matched SkinOx peel, a selected advanced formulation used during microneedling, a SkinOx serum and a matched light programme. Nothing is injected in either treatment. You are given aftercare guidance to follow at home. Results build gradually over the weeks that follow, and individual results vary.

Many concerns respond best to a planned course rather than a one-off session. Your plan, including whether a course is appropriate, is confirmed at consultation.

Courses of three
My initial course includes three sessions, usually four to six weeks apart. Your total plan depends on assessment and progress, and further sessions may be advised after review. Courses are paid in full at purchase, all three appointments are booked together and the course is completed within four months. Please give 48 hours’ notice to change an appointment.

Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, works with your skin's own biology. Fine, sterile needles create precise micro channels into the upper dermis. Your skin then releases growth factors, and fibroblasts begin producing new collagen and elastin. But collagen isn't built overnight. It matures and reorganises over weeks to months. Spacing sessions weeks apart lets each treatment build on the collagen laid down by the last. This is why we recommend treating in a course.

At her private Fulham studio, Georgina assesses your skin, discusses your concerns and goals, and recommends an appropriate treatment plan. This is why consultation and individual assessment matter. Some concerns are better suited to a particular serum, some benefit from a planned course, and microneedling is not appropriate for everyone. An honest assessment comes first, and suitability is always confirmed before treatment.
